Four S-3 Vikings from Carrier-Based Antisubmarine Squadron Twenty-Two (VS-22), "Checkmates", fly in formation over USS Stethem (DDG 63) during a training exercise. The Checkmates are part of Carrier Airwing Three currently embarked on board USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). TRUMAN is on station in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH. SOUTHERN WATCH establishes a southern no fly zone over Iraq and extends to the borders to just south of Baghdad, capital city of Iraq
