Kitchen looking towards small dining room

This kitchen is part of the original 1899 addition Neil and Emma Erickson made to their log cabin. To the left is the doorway down to the cellar, the original "stone fort" the Ericksons built shortly after they arrived in Bonita Canyon, in 1888. Neil also built the kitchen table, with metal bins for flour and sugar. The cabinet under the stairs was used to hold pots and pans. Each bit of available space was used.
