MOTUTAPU ISLAND, Tonga — U.S. Marines and Tongan soldiers conduct a beach insertion during the culminating range as part of a multi-national, bilateral exercise designed to increase interoperability and relations, July 27, 2016, on Motutapu Island, Tonga, as part of Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. The service members applied skills such as demolition, beach insertions, high explosive exploitation and buddy rushes in the final range to test their capabilities.
