MOTUTAPU ISLAND, Tonga — U.S. Marines and Tongan soldiers use a combat rubber raiding craft to conduct a beach insertion, July 27, 2016, on Motutapu Island, during a multi-national, bilateral exercise designed to increase interoperability and relations between the forces. The culminating live-fire range incorporated skill sets conducted and honed during the exercise such as beach insertion, demolition, exploitation of high explosives and buddy rushes.
