Natural and Designed Vegetation at the Volcano House
Summary
Crater Rim Historic District. The district contains a combination of naturally-occurring and planted vegetation, sometimes in the same space like in this example from the landscape around the Volcano House. Designed vegetation in this area tends to be massed in beds and arranged informally around buildings and pathways, creating a lush and tropical look.
