New Orleans, La., July 17, 2013 -- FEMA provided $1.3 million in funding to the city of New Orleans for the repairs of the Oliver Bush Playground, located in New Orleans' lower Ninth Ward, damaged as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Work included restoration of a softball field s, restoration of four tennis courts, replacement of the basketball pavilion, restoration of the site bathrooms, and replacement of site sidewalks.
