Pfc. Brandon Rowland, of Hubbard, Ohio, adjusts the deck height of a seven-day raft as it crosses an approximate 2.4-mile expanse of the New River adjacent to Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 17, 2012. Reserve Marines with Folsom, Pa.-based Bridge Company Bravo, 6th Engineer Support Battalion shadowed their active-duty counterparts with 8th ESB during raft operations. The training is part of the Marines’ pre-mobilization training and they are scheduled to attach to the 2nd Marine Logistics Group’s Combat Logistics Battalion 2 later this year.
