Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt plaque. On the plaque is a shield shaped painted brass plate. Centered on the plate is and emblem that consists of the colors of the south Vietnamese colors surrounded by two dragons with a banner across the bottom that reads: Thuong Nghi-Vien. Across the top of the place is engraved: Presented by The Defense Committee of the National Assembly Republic of Vietnam to Vice Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt Jr. commander of the NAFVN Saigon April 5th 1969.
