Production. Airplane manufacture, general. North American's transportation department at the Inglewood, California, aircraft plant, assists employees in getting to and from work. Files are kept for rides wanted and offered so that employees may get in touch with each other. This department also keeps a file on houses for rent close to the factory. This plant produces the battle-tested B-25 ("Billy Mitchell") bomber, used in General Doolittle's raid on Tokyo, and the P-51 ("Mustang") fighter plane which was first brought into prominence by the British raid on Dieppe
