Retired U.S. Army Col. Eric Schwartz pins the Meritorious Service Medal on newly-retired Lt. Col. Jimmy Mullinax, former commander of the Clemson University Reserve Officers' Training Corps, April 29, 2016. Schwartz was assistant professor of military science for Clemson's ROTC and a mentor to Mullinax during his days as a cadet here.
