British soldiers and Yugoslav partisans transferring parachute containers and bundles of supplies from a lorry to Handley Page Halifax Mark II, BB338 'M' of No. 148 (Special Duties) Squadron RAF at Brindisi, Italy, before it takes off on a supply dropping mission to the Yugoslav National Liberation Army. BB338 was lost while returning from a similar operation on 5 December 1944.
