Secretary of Navy is presented with "Buddy Poppy" anchor by Veterans of Foreign Wars. The Secretary of the Navy, Curtis D. Wilbur, was presented with a floral Poppy Anchor at the Navy Department in Washington today by Theodore Stitt, Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The Secretary of the Navy is presented with this Anchor each year by the Veterans as a tribute to the services of the veterans of the Navy who lost their lives during our Nation's wars. On Memorial Day the anchor will be cast on the waters of the Potomac River with impressive ceremonies
