Sgt. Maj. Randall Carter, sergeant major of I Marine Expeditionary Force and U.S. Marine Forces Central Command, was relieved by Sgt. Maj. Ronald L. Green during a relief, appointment and retirement ceremony aboard Camp Pendleton, June 22. Sgt. Maj. Green was assigned as the Marine Forces Europe sergeant major from August 2010 to May 2012. His previous assignments include duties at Headquarters Battalion, Headquarters Marine Corps, Henderson Hall in Arlington, Va., and Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing.
