KOJE ISLAND, Republic of Korea (Aug. 25, 2012) Rear Adm. Bill McQuilkin, commander of Naval Forces Korea, praises Kim Im-soon, founder of the Aikwangwon orphanage during the Korean War, for her 60 years of service during a community service event attended by 117 Sailors at the Aikwangwon Home and School for the Mentally and Physically Disabled. The Sailors used part of their break time during exercise Ulchi Freedom Guardian 2012 to volunteer at the facility by doing general maintenance, landscaping and cooking for the 325 residents, staff and teachers. Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 74, detachment Chinhae, built and installed new bathroom doors and partitions as well as spackled cracked walls around the facility.
