Lot-11550-6: WWI: French Activities. LeQuesnel. Wrecked British tank, manned by Canadians. Holes in side where German 77’s firing point blank, hit and wrecked this steel monster. The gasoline caught fire, igniting the large supply of shells and cartridges, making the tank a veritable hell, in which the crew of 26 perished west of LeQuesnel. Morris’ War Photographs.
