After answering some questions from crewmembers aboard the U.S. Navy (USN) Ticonderoga Class Guided Missile Cruiser USS ANZIO (CG 68), CHIEF of Naval Operations Adm. Michael G. Mullen awards some of the ship's Sailors their Surface Warfare pins on Dec. 21, 2006 on the Persian Gulf. Adm. Mullen and the MASTER CHIEF PETTY Officer of the Navy (MCPON) visited the ANZIO to thank the Sailors for their work in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility. ANZIO is currently deployed as part of the Eisenhower Strike Group on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of maritime security operations.
