[Hurricane Katrina] LaPlace, La., October 8, 2005 - Ashley Kusick (Right) and Dan Waldman ( 2nd from right), members of the "Teach For America" program that places new teachers in inner city and low-income area schools, were left without jobs in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina struck the city.
