Violet, La., May 17, 2013 -- St. Bernard Fire Station #7 was severely damaged by Katrina's 15-foot storm surge that battered the fire station. The building was also hit by a tornado spawned by the hurricane. FEMA has provided over $2.6 million for the replacement of the facility. Lillie Long/FEMA
